Police catch North Syracuse bank robber

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department and North Syracuse police have apprehended the man suspected of robbing the Seneca Federal Savings Bank on North Main Street in East Syracuse on April 7th.

Officials say 30-year-old Lucas Lunkenheimer of Mattydale had approached the bank's counter, demanded money and ran.

Lunkenheimer was arrested Saturday afternoon at a friend's home in North Syracuse. He will be arraigned Saturday evening in the Village of North Syracuse court.
