Police identify victim of deadly stabbing on South Townsend Street

Syracuse Police have identified the victim in the deadly stabbing on South Townsend Street early Tuesday morning.

Police say 36-year-old Jermaine L. Davis of Syracuse was stabbed multiple times by two short, black male suspects around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The suspects were described as in their late teens to early twenties.

Police are still investigating the stabbing and looking for a motive.
