Police investigating stabbing on West Colvin Street

An early morning stabbing on West Colvin Street has police asking for help in finding the suspects.

Police say 36-year-old Durrill Young was standing in front of 219 West Colvin Street this morning when he was grabbed from behind and stabbed in the chest and shoulder.

He could not describe the suspects to police, only that there were three black men.

Young walked into the emergency room at Upstate Hospital and his wounds were found to be non-life threatening. Police say he gave conflicting reports to detectives and no scene was found.
