Police need your help to find missing elderly woman

Syracuse police are asking for the publicâ??s help to locate a missing elderly woman.

71 year-old Madama Pascasie was reported missing from 611 Ash Street Friday night at 7 p.m. Her daughter, who reported the incident, says her mother suffers from dementia symptoms but has not been officially diagnosed.

Pascasie is a 5â??6â?? female with short, dark hair in small braids and weighs about 120 lbs. She is from the Congo and speaks only Swahili.

Her daughter says she was acting irritated and was able to leave the house without anyone realizing what happened. She left once before and was found near Thompson Road in DeWitt.

She was last seen wearing a yellow head wrap, a grey and black coat and jeans. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
