Syracuse police are searching for the suspect of a stabbing on Midland Avenue.
Police say around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, the victim, a 19 year old male, was standing at the corner of Midland and Ostrander when he was approached from behind by a black male wearing an orange hat and a white shirt. The victim was stabbed twice in the back, according to police.
The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect may have left the scene in a silver Kia. Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to call Syracuse police at 315-442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
