Police search for suspect in Syracuse bank robbery

South Crouse Avenue bank robbery

Syracuse police are searching for a man caught on surveillance cameras robbing a bank on Friday afternoon.

Police say the man entered State Employee Federal Credit Union on South Crouse Avenue around 4:30 p.m. and handed a threatening note to the teller. The teller then handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the bank on foot.

There were no injuries in the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call 442-5222.
