Cops: Teen arrested for stabbing 15-year-old in shoulder on Syracuse's south side
SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Syracuse Police have made an arrest after a stabbing on the city's south side.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of Fernwood Avenue around 9:27 p.m. Monday in regards to a stabbing call. Officers met with a 15-year-old female victim, who was suffering from a stab wound to her shoulder.
The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance for treatment of an injury police described as non-life-threatening.
On Tuesday morning police announced the arrest of another 15-year-old female. The juvenile, who has not been identified due to her age, faces charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
