Porn at preschool fire prevention program under investigation in Utica

Utica television station WUTR continues to press city officials for answers about what happened at a recent fire prevention program for preschoolers.

The station reports the video shown was supposed to be an educational film by The Utica Fire Department. When it was shown, the station says it was covered up immediately. The station did not indicate when the incident happened - or how it came to their attention.

Utica Fire Chief Russell Brooks told the station someone tampered with one of the department's movies or cameras that they use for preschool children.

"We have a zero tolerance. Zero tolerance for pornography in the fire department," Chief Brooks told WUTR-TV. "Members are not even allowed to have magazines in lockers, nothing is allowed in this building," he added.

Utica Police are looking into the incident.
