Port of Oswego Authority gets nearly $200,000 to improve rail infrastructure

The Port of Oswego Authority is getting a big boost to help it build a rail spur and additional rail car storage, as it continues to accommodate increased rail traffic to the post.
The Port is getting a $192,000 competitive grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission to help improve existing rail infrastructure and support thousands of jobs connected to the Port of Oswego.
Representatives Dan Maffei and Richard Hanna announced the grant today, and say itâ??s a way to help the Port of Oswego grow.
