Price Chopper is recalling ground beef sold in their Cortland store on April 22.
The grocery store is issuing a voluntary recall on Price Chopper Ground Beef sold only on April 22 at the Cortland store located at 845 State Route 13.
The product is being recalled because a paper soaker pad may have been ground in with the beef. The paper pad does not present any health risks.
Eight customers bought the beef that day, and four have already been contacted by Price Chopper. Customers with the affected beef can return it to the store for a full refund.
