Those who had tickets to see the legendary, late George Jones perform this summer in Watertown now have two choices: they can still attend the August 3 concert now featuring a new headliner, or they may exchange their tickets for a refund.
Randy Travis, who's had more than 50 hits on the Billboard Country charts and 16 number one hits, is the replacement headline act in for the Disabled Person's Action Organization's Summer Concert at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena.
The concert will also feature a tribute to Jones, who died on April 26th.
Ticket holders who want refunds may contact the DPAO by next Friday, May 17th, at (315) 782-0044, or through e-mail at DPAO30@yahoo.com.
A note on the DPAO's website thanks patrons for their patience, and says additional tickets to the concert will go on sale after all refunds have been processed.
The concert is set for 7 p.m. August 3 at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena.
