Report: Rex Ryan hired by ESPN for Super Bowl coverage
(WHAM) - If Buffalo Bills fans thought they had seen the last of Rex Ryan for a few months, they don't know Rex.
According to the Sports Business Journal, the former Bills head coach was hired by ESPN for its Super Bowl Sunday coverage.
Ryan reportedly signed a deal to appear on “NFL Sunday Countdown” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for that day only.
Ryan was fired by the Bills on December 27 with just one game left in the 2016 NFL season. He finished with a 15-16 record after two season as the team's head coach.
It remains unclear if Ryan will be pursuing another NFL coaching job after his gig with ESPN is finished.
