Resident of Syracuse University fraternity house arrested after narcotics investigation

The Syracuse Police Department arrested 23-year-old Patrick Jackson on Thursday after police completed a search warrant at the Syracuse University Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity House.

Jackson is a former Syracuse University student who was living at the fraternity house.

Police say that during the search, they recovered more than four ounces of cocaine, more than 15 grams of marijuana and more than $5,000 in cash.

Jackson is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance among other charges.

Jackson will be arraigned in Syracuse City court on Friday.
