A nationwide restaurant chain opened its first franchise in New York State Monday morning, and people were literally lining up just to get inside.

CiCi TMs Pizza, a Texas-based company which has more than 650 locations in 34 states, debuted its newest restaurant at 11:00 a.m. Monday. The restaurant, located on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt, features a pizza, salad, and pasta buffet inside its 5,000 square foot building.

As you can see from the photos, customers were lined up across the parking lot in anticipation of the opening. Some arrived hours before the opening, at around 7:00 a.m. To promote the event, the company dropped free buffet coupons around the area for residents to find and redeem, as well as offered a coupon good for one free buffet a month for a year for the first 100 guests who purchased an adult buffet.

We TMre so excited to get to know the DeWitt community and bring it our family-friendly atmosphere, store operator Elmar Ashman said in a news release. Because we offer so many choices, everyone can easily find something delicious.

The company says that their hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week.
