Rite Aid offers reward for capture and conviction of man who robbed store in Barneveld

State Police in Remsen are looking for a man they say robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Barneveld on May 12 at about 11:20am.

Police say that a white man went into the store with what appeared to be a gun in a brown paper bag and demanded money from the cashier.

Police described the man as being a white male, about 150 pounds, and about 6 feet tall.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a blue colored bandana with a white checkered pattern.

Rite Aid is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
