Rochester man dies during Musselman Triathalon

A cyclist riding in Saturday morning's Musselman Triathalon near Seneca Lake State Park was killed when his bicycle hit into the back of a car.

State Police in Waterloo report 38-year-old Michael Coyle, of Rochester, was riding on State Route 96A in the Town of Varick when the accident happened at approximately 9:46am. Officials say Coyle collided with a car parked on the shoulder of the road that had run out of gas.

Coyle died from his injuries at Geneva General Hospital.
