Rome man arrested after alleged sexual encounters with two boys

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Rome man was arrested Tuesday afternoon as a result of an investigation into alleged sexual encounters with two juvenile male victims.

Eric J. Green, 27, was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and one count of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, according to the Sheriff's office.

Green was arraigned in Rome City Court, and sent to Oneida County Correctional Facility on $1,500 bail.

The case has been referred to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office for further investigation and additional charges may be filed, deputies said.

Victim services were offered to both victims by the Child Advocacy Center.
