The Oneida County Sheriffâ??s Office announced the arrest of 2 Rome residents for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Deputies arrested 47-year-old Anthony P. Armstrong, of 6282 Lamphear Road and 35-year-old Corie L. Edwards after executing a search warrant at Armstrongâ??s home.
The arrests come after a five-month long investigation into the sale of meth from the Lamphear Road address. This isnâ??t the first time the Lamphear Road address has been under investigation. Another search warrant resulted in Armstrongâ??s arrest in December.
Armstrong and Edwards were charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th Degree, a misdemeanor.
The Oneida County Sheriffâ??s Office Patrol Division, The Rome Fire Department, and the City of Rome Codes Department assisted at the scene.
