Rome woman facing charges after deadly 3 car crash in Yates County

A Rome woman is facing charges after a deadly three car crash in the Town of Milo, Yates County.

State Police say a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Sabrina T. Livermore was heading west on Randall Crossing Road when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle went off-road, through a grassy area, striking railroad tracks at Randall Crossing and entering State Route 14.

Livermoreâ??s vehicle hit a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Cleo C. Pollack, of Dundee, which was traveling north on State Route 14. Livermoreâ??s vehicle also hit a vehicle heading south on State Route 14, driven by 37-year-old Joseph Morin, of Montour Falls, troopers say.

Pollack, Morin and two passengers in Livermoreâ??s vehicle were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

A passenger in Pollackâ??s vehicle, 53-year-old Roxan E. Meier, of Dundee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Livermore was arrested and charged with DWI and second degree vehicular manslaughter. She was arraigned and is being held on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

State Police are still investigating the crash, and anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Joseph Kelly at (607) 739-0281.
