State Police identify victims of deadly multi-car crash on Route 20 in Sennett
TOWN OF SENNETT, N.Y. —
State Police say one person was killed and three others were injured after a multi-car accident in Sennett Wednesday morning.
Route 20 between Walker Road and Town Hall Road was closed for several hours due to the accident.
The Auburn Fire Department says three cars were involved in an initial crash, and a fourth swerved into a ditch to avoid them.
Troopers tell us the first car split apart during the crash, ejecting and killing the driver, identified as 30-year-old Joseph Raymond of Auburn, and critically injuring his passenger, 29-year-old Ashley Hester of Auburn.
46-year-old Lisa M. Weiss from Skaneateles, 52-year-old Barbara L. Brillo from Skaneateles and 31-year-old Jennifer M. Wall also suffered minor injuries when their vehicles became involved in the accident.
State Police are investigating the accident.
