He spent more than a decade of his life in state prison for a murder he didn't commit and was later released. Now, Roy Brown could find himself back in prison, this time on drug charges.

An Onondaga County grand jury has indicted Brown, of 6291 Perryville Road in Chittenango, on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

It stems from Brown's arrest in Syracuse last October. Police say Brown was found with a small amount of cocaine and marijuana. They say his passenger had heroin on him at the time.

Brown spent 15 years in state prison for the 1991 murder of Sabina Kulakowski. DNA evidence pointed to another man as the real killer. Brown was released from prison in 2007.
