Sackets Harbor woman charged with DWI after crashing into parked car
A Sackets Harbor woman was arrested for DWI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident in Watertown, after State Police say she crashed her vehicle into a parked car and fled the scene.
Troopers say 51-year-old Karen Romeo, from Military Road in Sackets Harbor, was impaired when she hit the parked car in the Target Store parking lot on Towne Center Drive and took off. She was identified and arrested shortly after.
Romeo is scheduled to appear in Town of Watertown court on April 25th to answer the charges.
