The boil water advisory for Sandy Creek and Lacona has been lifted. Residents no longer need to boil their drinking water.
The Oswego County Director of Public Health says several water samples were taken Wednesday and Thursday. They test results indicated the water is safe for residents to drink and use for cooking.
On Tuesday morning a water main break caused the water system to lose pressure. Residents were advised to boil their water before drinking or using it. That water line has now been repaired.
