Schuyler man charged for DWI and drug possession in Whitestown
A Schuyler man was arrested for driving while impaired by drugs and drug possession Thursday night in the Town of Whitestown.
According to the Oneida County Sheriffâ??s Office, Rome police noticed Andrew Waldron, 20, driving erratically on Judd Road and pulled him over to perform a traffic stop.
Sheriffâ??s Deputies were called to the scene where police could smell marijuana.
After searching the car, police discovered Hydrocodone pills and marijuana.
Sheriffâ??s deputies say Waldron was tested and found to be driving while impaired by drugs.
Waldronâ??s passenger, Evan Lawendowski, 21, of New York Mills was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both Waldron and Lawendowski were issued appearance tickets and are due to appear in Whitestown Town Court at a later date.
