Syracuse Police have made a second arrest in the shooting death on Syracuse's North Side last Tuesday night.

23 year old George Colon, from Syracuse, was found on Friday morning, at 332 East Bloomfield Street in Rome. Syracuse and Rome police took him into custody and searched the home, but are not saying what evidence they found there.

Police say Colon and the already arrested suspect, 30 year old Alfred Thomas, were identified through a review of surveillance camera footage, as well as by witnesses.

Both men are now charged with murder second degree and criminal possession of a weapon, and are being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.

No mug shots are available of the suspects, because police say it is an ongoing investigation.
