      Jerimiah Randall

Two Seneca County men are accused of killing cats.

Seneca County Sheriff's deputies say 26-year-old Jerimiah Randall, of Ovid, and 26-year-old Robert Lyman, of Interlaken, shot and killed two cats with a rifle.

Deputies say it happened on March 16 on County Route 129 in the Town of Ovid.

Lyman and Randall are charged with cruelty to animals and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a home.

They were both issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Ovid Town Court at a later date.
