Seneca Falls man arrested after allegedly shooting teenage girl in eye with BB gun

A Seneca Falls man was arrested after allegedly shooting a teenage girl in the eye with a BB gun.

According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, on Monday at 5:45pm, police arrested John Rimmer, 43, of Seneca Falls. Rimmer was charged with Assault in the third degree after he allegedly shot a teenage girl in the eye with a BB gun.

The girl was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance where she was treated and later released.

Rimmer was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and is being held on $1500 cash bail or $3000 bond.

Rimmer is to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on April 3rd, 2014 at 6:00pm.
