A Seneca Falls man is arrested after police say he punched and kicked a friendâ??s dog, knocking out six of the animalâ??s teeth.
Police say 30-year-old Matthew R. Taylor was charged with criminal trespass and injuring an animal, both misdemeanors, after an incident at a friendâ??s apartment.
Police say Taylor punched and kicked the dog. He was asked to leave, but refused, and continued to punch and kick the dog, knocking out the teeth. The animal did not have any other injuries, police say.
As officers were trying to arrest Taylor, they say he was physically and verbally aggressive, leading to an additional charge of obstructing governmental administration.
Taylor is being held in the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
