It happened around 7:55 a.m. Monday morning. The highway re-opened at 11:30 a.m., according to the Department of Transportation.

Police say the crash occurred when a Kawasaki motorcycle headed northbound on Route 81 struck the center median.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
