Mon, 03 Jun 2013 12:15:19 GMT — I-81 North just north of the 690 interchange in Syracuse was closed for over three hours following a "very serious" motorcycle crash, Syracuse Police say.It happened around 7:55 a.m. Monday morning. The highway re-opened at 11:30 a.m., according to the Department of Transportation.Police say the crash occurred when a Kawasaki motorcycle headed northbound on Route 81 struck the center median. The driver was identified as 46-year-old Lynette Brady of Elbridge. She was taken to Upstate Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
