Numerous accidents and slippery roads from today's storm made for a slow commute this morning. State police tell us the northbound lanes of Henry Clay Boulevard in Liverpool have reopened. An accident involving a jeep colliding with a power pole just after 8am was the issue.
Route 5 near Quarry Road in the Madison County own of Sullivan was closed for a time this morning after a collision involving a car and tractor trailer. One person was injured, but we do not know the extent of that person's injuries, That accident has now been cleaned up and the road reopened And the New York State Thruway Authority now reports that accident in the westbound lanes between exits 32 and 31 near Utica has been cleared, but residual delays may remain.
We are also hear of numerous minor accidents on roads around Central New York this morning, so be careful out there.
