A man accused of sexually abusing a child and leading police on a chase earlier this year has been arrested again.
John Minckler of Cleveland, NY was arrested for sexually assaulting a boy under the age of 13 back in October. Thursday, Rome Police arrested Minckler for similar offenses against the same child in Oswego County.
Minckler was arraigned in New York Mills local criminal court and is in the Oswego County Jail. The case was investigated by Rome Police, State Police and the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center. Cicero Police and the United States Marshals service assisted in the case.
In October, Minckler was spotted by State Police in Cicero in a Denny's parking lot. When investigators approached, the suspect sped away and a chase ensued. He was arrested for predatory sexual assault against a child.
