Sheriff: Cortland woman charged with DWI Thursday evening
A Cortland woman was found driving a vehicle while intoxicated Thursday evening, according to the Cortland County Sheriff's office.
Brenda L. Holbert, 49, of Cortland, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving Across Hazard Markings, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, and Unlicensed Operator, deputies said.
Holbert was stopped around 7:21 p.m., after she had driven across hazard markings on Port Watson Street in Cortland, according to the sheriff's office. After investigation she was found to be intoxicated, deputies said.
Holbert was arrested, processed, and later arraigned in the City of Cortland Court at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and later released in court, according to the sheriff's office.
