Shooting investigation in Syracuse on Saturday morning

Syracuse Police don't have a crime scene, but they have a victim: a 38 year old man, shot in the neck, possibly in the 100 block of Onondaga Ave

Just before 3am, a man arrived at Upstate University Hospital, shot in the neck.

Syracuse Police say they are investigating, though the victim was not able to provide suspect information.

The 38 year old man told police he was walking in the 100 block of Onondaga Avenue (near the Tallman/Delaware Street intersection on the Syracuse West Side) about 2:40am when he was hit. He is now in serious but stable condition, and is expected to survive.

Officers were unable to locate a crime scene in that area, and ask the public's help, at 442-5222.
