Shooting suspect considered 'armed and dangerous' turns himself in to Ithaca Police

The shooting suspect Ithaca police considered armed and dangerous turned himself in to the Ithaca Police Department on Thursday.

Police say Clifton McBean is the suspect in a shooting Monday near the intersection of South Plain Street and Cleveland Avenue.

McBean faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

Police have not identified the person was shot twice but do say the victim and the shooter knew each other.
