Six arrested for throwing garbage at patrol cars

Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies arrested six people on Friday night for throwing garbage and other items at a sheriff's patrol car.
According to Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh, a deputy was driving on Cedarvale Road in the Town of Onondaga around 11:45pm on Friday night when the officer's marked patrol car was hit with trash, corn cobs, aluminum cans, and other items.
Six people were arrested following a search of the area. Police arrested 18-year-old Patrick Kinney of Skaneateles, 19-year-old Phillip Hess of Onondaga, 17-year-old Connor Hess of Onondaga, 20-year-old Daniel Daoust of Onondaga, and 18-year-old Collin Pidgeon of Auburn.
All six were charged with criminal mischief in the 4th degree and reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree, both misdemeanors.Police believe there may have been other victims because of the amount of debris at the scene. Anyone who may be a victim of a similar crime at the same time and location is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 425-2111.
