      Six arrested in meth bust in City of Oneida

      Six people were arrested and drug material was seized from an Oneida apartment complex after an investigation by Oneida City Police into the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

      Officers searched the apartments at 118, 120 and 122 Madison Street, which house several apartments that are connected.

      The search turned up Muratic acid, Drano, lithium batteries, pseudoephedrine and other material used in the manufacturing of meth. They also seized three vials of meth.

      Arrested were:

      41-year-old John C Barlow Sr., 362 Washington Avenue Oneida on charges of; Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material and Conspiracy. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $100,000 cash or bond.

      24-year-old Rikki L Sochia-Ortman , 122 Madison Street Apartment 4, Oneida on charges of; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material and Conspiracy. She was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.

      28-year-old Craig R. Bean, 6264 Happy Valley Road Verona on charges of; Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material and Conspiracy. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

      42-year-old Jesus Camacho, N. Peterboro Street Canastota on charges of; Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material and Conspiracy. He was arraigned and held without bail. He will appear 6/13/14.

      45-year-old Rodney C. Ortman, 118 Madison Street, Apartment 9 Oneida on charges of; Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material, Conspiracy, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $2500 cash or bond.

      42-year-old Trisha Kimball, 120 Madison Street, Apartment 4, Oneida on a charge of Conspiracy. She was released on an appearance ticket.
