Smash Mouth to bring the all-star treatment to Chevy Court

Smash Mouth at a 2007 performance.

Less than three months to go until the Great New York State Fair, another act is announced to play Chevy Court.

Smash Mouth, which topped pop charts in the late 90's through the last decade, will bring their summertime sound to Chevy Court, Friday afternoon, August 22.

You might remember "Walkin' on the Sun," "Can't Get Enough of You Baby," and "All Star" - and you'll probably recognize their creative renditions of hit songs, "Why Can't We Be Friends," and "I'm a Believer" (from Shrek) as well.

Smash Mouth is set to take the stage at 2 p.m. Friday, August 22, the second day of the fair. Like all Chevy Court acts, their performance is free with a day's admission to the Fair.

On the opening day of the Fair, country songstress Kellie Pickler kicks off the Chevy Court series at 2 p.m., followed by Barenaked Ladies at 8 p.m. .

Other acts we can look forward to hearing include Herman's Hermits, John Kay and Steppenwolf, The Doobie Brothers, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and more.
