Soccer coach accused of running away with Florida teen faces child sex charge
COLUMBIA COUNTY, FL —
The soccer coach who is accused of running off with a Florida teenager could face up to 30 years in prison.
Rian Rodriguez appeared before a judge in Columbia County, Florida on Friday and faces charges of sexual activity with a minor and interference with child custody.
His bond is set at $125,000. His special circumstances include having no contact with the teen, Caitlyn Frisina, or her family. He is also ordered to not have contact with minors.
Rodriguez will be held at his parent’s home and fitted with a GPS monitor. He also must surrender his passport.
