Son, brother of women found dead in Sodus asks for the public's help

On Tuesday, State Police investigators removed several boxes from a Sodus home where two women were found dead two days earlier. Police say 54 year-old Terri Moulton and her 30 year-old daughter Stacey were checking on a neighbors cat on Sunday. When they didn't return home a family member went looking for them. Police say the bodies of both women were found inside the neighbor's home. Parts of the home had also been set on fire and police believe it was an attempt to cover up the crime. On Facebook, the victims son and brother said the two women fought back and that their attackers were likely cut, bruised and battered. James Moulton said he hopes whoever is responsible is found so "that they may be stopped before they can harm other innocent victims."

Investigators are looking for a dark blue SUV, likely a Mercury Mountaineer. In his Facebook post, James Moulton says the body side moldings on the doors might be damaged or missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police in Lyons at (315)-946-3044.
