South Townsend Street closed due to accident cleanup
SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
According to the Syracuse Fire Department, South Townsend Street in Syracuse will be closed after a car crashed into a fire hydrant.
Crews say South Townsend Street will be closed until they can get the water cleaned up and shut off.
Onondaga County 911 says the accident happened just before 3 p.m.
According to officials, one woman was sent to the hospital. There is no word on her condition at the moment.
