SPD: Fight leads to stabbing at Syracuse night club
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A fight that broke out at a nightclub in Syracuse led to the stabbing of one man, according to Syracuse Police.
Just after 3:00 a.m., police were called to Upstate University Hospital after a 25-year-old man arrived in a private vehicle with stab wounds.
Police say the victim was stabbed in his lower back and his injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.
The man told officers that he had gotten into an argument with a group of men at Venue 315 on West Genesee Street. The argument led to a fight and the man was stabbed in the back, police said.
Venue 315, located in downtown Syracuse, is an event center, dance club and bar.
At this time no arrests have been made and Syracuse Police are still trying to identify the suspect.
