SPD: Man stabbed during argument near Syracuse's North Side

An argument near Syracuse's North Side on Sunday ended with one man being stabbed, according to Syracuse Police.

Just before 11:30 a.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Teall Avenue regarding a stabbing.

When they arrived, police found a 74-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to his left arm and shoulder. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is expected to be okay.

The victim told police he was stabbed after he got into a dispute with an unknown man.

Police describe the suspect as a black man who was wearing all dark clothing.
