Two special events were held Thursday to honor a Cicero-North Syracuse High School senior who was killed in a car crash.

About 50 of 17-year-old Taylor Fleming's friends and family members gathered in front of CNS High School to release balloons in her memory. They all shouted "Taylor, we love you to the moon and back" before releasing the balloons. Mickey's Balloons of North Syracuse donated all the balloons.

Taylor's mother, Michelle Fleming, was at the event. She tells us she's very grateful for all of the support she's received from the community since Taylor's death.

Inside the high school, it was "Hats for Taylor" day. Students were able to donate money for the opportunity to wear a hat to school. Event sponsors were able to give Fleming's family $1,600 raised by students Thursday.

The football team and other sports booster clubs has also raised $4,800 for Flemings family family through different events and fundraisers.

If you would like to donate to Fleming's family, checks can be made payable to Dan & Michelle Fleming and sent to:c/o TD Club Inc. (CNS Football)PO Box 2592Syracuse, NY 13220
