St. Patrick's season kicks off with green beer Sunday

Green beer for a little bit of Irish luck

St. Patrick's season kicked off on Sunday on Tip Hill in Syracuse with a parade.

Hundreds of people come from around the area to celebrate this Irish holiday. The one item that everyone wants to get a taste of at this celebration is green beer.

This Sunday is known as green beer Sunday here in Central New York. More than 6,000 gallons of green beer was on tap for people to drink and celebrate with. Part of this celebration was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub hosting this event. Part of Sundayâ??s green beer celebration was to join several cultures together.
