The victim in Saturday morning's stabbing homicide in Syracuse is now identified as 29 year old Bryan Sheppard, from Syracuse.
Syracuse Police say they have a 'very active and ongoing' investigation.So far the suspect is only described as a black man.
The 29-year old man was stabbed in front of the Solvay Supersaver market on Milton Avenue, about 1:25 this morning
He was pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital.
Police are asking the public's help in the investigation, at 442-5222.
