State Police along with Forest Rangers are looking for a reported missing hiker from Sauquoit.

Police say that 84-year-old Donald A. Combs left a note with family members on July 10th, saying he was camping in the area of the Black River Wild Forest Trailhead (S-71), off Bear Creek Road in the Town of Forestport.

During a search, Comb's vehicle was found a quarter-mile from Bear Creek Road on the trail, but he wasn't found.

Family members then called 911.

The search was called off because it got dark, but it will resume Monday morning.
