State Police seek identity of man who offered young child a ride in North Syracuse
NORTH SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
New York State Police are seeking the public's assistance in uncovering the identity of a man who allegedly offered a young child a ride last month.
According to police, a man was operating a gray Nissan Versa around 3 p.m. on March 22 when he approached a child walking on 7th North Street in North Syracuse and offered her a ride.
State Police are asking for help in identifying the man involved.
He is described as a white man with short dark hair, a colorful tatoo on his right forearm and he smokes cigarettes.
