Statewide alert issued for missing Seneca County woman

Your help is needed to find a missing woman in Seneca County.

Investigators are searching for Alice "Sally" Deal, 87, of Waterloo.

She went missing Monday around 10 p.m. from her home on Shannon Drive, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Department.

Deal is described as a white female, 5'5" and weighs 115 pounds.

She suffers from dementia and is believed to be on foot, according to investigators. Deal had on a house coat, adult diapers, and no shoes when she went missing.

Neighbors are asked to check their vehicles and property for any sign of Deal.

Sheriff's Deputies have setup a command post on Shannon Drive and are being helped by Waterloo Police, New York State Police, and the Waterloo Fire Department.

A State Police helicopter is also being used to help in the search.

Because of Deal's disappearance, a New York State Vulnerable Missing Adult Alert is now in effect.
