Stewartâ??s Shops is officially expanding into the Syracuse area, with a planned store at the intersection of Morgan and Buckley Roads.
The Town of Clay Planning Board unanimously approved the plans Wednesday. The new shop will be built on the site of a former convenience store, which will be demolished. Hiramâ??s Tire & Service Center will remain on the property.
The new store will feature Stewartâ??s private label products, along with a deli and a walk-in cooler called a beer cave.
Construction is set to get underway this summer, and should take about eight weeks.
â??We are thrilled to be expanding to serve the Syracuse community,â?? says Stewartâ??s President Gary Dake. â??Weâ??ve been hearing the calls for us to arrive for some time. And while those people already know us well, weâ??re also glad to have an opportunity to introduce Stewartâ??s Shops to the rest of our new neighbors.â??
