Strong winds knock tree into Syracuse home, several counties lose power

Tree knocked into house

In Syracuse, the winds knocked a tree into a house at 1118 Wolf Street.

According to police, around 11:45 p.m. Sunday, a tree fell into a three family apartment building.

Police say several windows were smashed and the back end of a parked car was crushed.

There were no injuries reported.

National Grid responded to calls for downed power lines.

Several counties across Central New York have power outages.
